HI I'M TIINA PIETILÄINEN

Artist, mother of two and a lifelong dreamer.

I am a 37 years old self-taught artist, born and raised in central Finland, in the middle of lakes and forests.

Nature has always played a huge role in my life and well-being. It also has an important role in my artworks. I adore the diversity of nature and all the layers which make it so interesting time and time again.

Behind The Art

My inspiration comes from a deep desire to create happiness around me and my happy place has always been the beautiful nature of Finland. I like the idea that a painting can be like a window to a calming place inside your soul.

Ever since I was a child, I have loved to watch how sunlight dances on the waves or how the light shines through the treetops and illuminates the forest and makes you feel like you are walking in a fairy tail. I still find these to be the most inspiring, calming and hypnotizing sights.
